On June 1, 2012, Rhizome Productions, a local production company known for producing the East Nashville Beer Festival and 12th South Winter Warmer, partnered with the Nashville Zoo to host Brew at the Zoo. M.L. Rose Craft Beer and Burgers, along with Ajax Turner, Blackstone Brewing Company, and several others, sponsored the event. Guests enjoyed the five hour event which included a commemorative pint glass and unlimited 3oz samples from over 25 craft breweries.
